To begin the New Year RDU International Airport was below freezing for
an all-time record 201 hours. Just on the other side of Umstead Park
towards PNC Arena these two legends found a frozen pond. Winter Storm
Grayson then dropped a few inches of snow and the rest was history. They
were able to enjoy 4 days of Pond Hockey before temperatures rose above
freezing on January 8th. It will be a long time before we see this
